Ian Johnston

Owner/Barber

Ian was born and raised in Illinois and moved to Tennessee in 2018. He opened and co-owned a barbershop in East Nashville in 2021 but made the decision to open No Coast completely on his own in 2025. When he’s not cutting hair, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, Randi, and his two kids, Gus and Amelia. Ian also likes to make tiki cocktails and has recently taken up golf. When you see him, ask him the secret to the perfect Mai Tai!

Hunter Prewett

Barber

Hunter has been a staple in the Nashville barber industry for 15 years, with the previous 6 spent in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. When he’s not behind the chair, he enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends and family and his cat, Pete. Hunter is also an avid collector and really loves sneakers and toys, both old and new!
